Quick InfoIsland RatingHistoryGetting There
  • In general, Pulau Aur consists of a group of 4 islands: Pulau Aur itself where the main fishing village is located, Pulau Dayang, Pulau Lang and Pulau Pinang. This group of islands lie furthest off the East coast and as such offers beautiful diving in deep waters. The islands offer lush vegetation and white sandy beaches- there are no roads on the islands.
  • The island is not easily accessible during the week, and it might be necessary (and expensive) to charter a boat from Mersing. Boat departure times are often dictated by coach arrival time from Singapore. Boats mostly leave around midnight on a Friday night and arrive around 4.30am on Pulau Aur.
  • Beware, currents can be strong.
